Frequently Asked Questions

How are the bins measured?
All of our bins are measured in cubic metres. Cubic metres are used to measure volume, not just the length or width. Calculating cubic metres is simple if you have the formula.
Cubic Volume (m³) = Length(m) x Width(m) x Height(m)
The little ³ symbol shows that you are using 3 different measurements to get the volume. Don’t be concerned if your pile is 6m long x 1m wide x 0.5m high and you end up with a total cubic volume of 3m³. Although your pile is in fact 6m long, there is only 3m³ in this example.
